Some areas are more minerally than others. Both where I am now and where I'm moving to next month are hilly areas, so I imagine they have quite hard water

Ya, it grows at least a Centimeter a year, that is actually sort of a make-shift staircase because people use that side to climb down it. They are steps, but you can see them. That spring was one of the most extreme.
Some of the others are more mild. I can drink them all.

No, you're saying that - since you can't find regular water - that Germans don't drink it or have it.

(especially now, since you've had information on how to get it hand-fed to you)

coincidentally I'm mostly drinking stilles Wasser and even buying it.

Youre letting the joke go right over youre head and acting all serious lol. Germans love their carbonated water. Thats the joke. No one asked for you to hand feed me directions to go to the store. You took that upon yourself to be mad.

Tip: if you say "still water" they'll know what you mean the first time around, since the German is "stilles Wasser"

Thanks. I got the still water and it doesnt taste that great sadly. Tastes like water out of a bathroom sink.

I am amazed how how good looking everyone is around here too. They all got great cheekbones and jawlines. Half of them look like models. At least in Munich.

That's usually a good Sprudel so I'm surprised their still water tastes so bad

Fwiw, the brand you get at Aldi is good. As is Odenwald-Quelle, but that's my bias since it's a local water lol

Ill be in Interlaken and surrounding areas and am starting to get dehydrated after a week in Ireland, Scotland, and now Germany. Ill look out for other brands when I get the car in the morning.

Usually go the Hoffbrau tent when I'm there, although it's not for everyone cus it gets rammed

If you're interested in soda, try Spezi. It's cola mixed with orange fanta. Brands include Mezzo Mix, Spezi, and Paulaner Spezi (the best one imo)

Ah I saw that in Munich yesterday but assumed it was beer since its Paulaner. Im heading to Lucerne in a couple days and will be stocking up on snacks for the drive and will look for that.
