I'm not sure if this is common knowledge but have you noticed that a lot of items have the letters 'Mc' in front of their name? McNuggets, McFlurry, McBig Mac, McFrench Fries, it's a bit ridiculous. I had an epiphany of sorts: the reason they're all named like this is to get the average, working class, good people to make a McFool of themselves in public. I jumped out of the shower, got dressed in my 'look out I'm about to go McRenegade on your ass' outfit, and walked down to the local Donald's. My McCar is still in the shop after that unpleasantness a while back but I won't get into that, it makes me want to upchuck every time I think about it. I had a plan: order some items without calling them by their official names, and throw in 2 items with their official names just to f* with them. I walked up to the counter and placed an order - 12 Nuggets 1 Quarter Pounder 1 Flurry 1 Chicken Sandwich 1 Double 1 Large Diet Coke (watching my calorie intake) The cashier does her thing with the register and asks me to confirm if I meant Mcnuggets, McFlurry, McChicken, and McDouble. I don't like being corrected, so I verbally lashed out at her for a second, then calmed myself. I asked why I should conform and order by their McSystem and asked why she couldn't put 2 and 3 together and give me my god damn order. She went and got me my order, and I told her to cross out all instances of the prefix (??????????????) 'Mc' that was on the packaging.
