A vote still needs to happen, but hopefully this is good for the WGA.

On the same day they announced that The Office is getting a reboot. Is it too late to kill the deal?

They haven't voted on it yet, so it still needs to be proposed to the union membership and voted on by them.

This just means that the union negotiators have agreed to a deal with the studios, it doesn't mean the union has.

No, that's not true nor how this works. The writers making a deal helps the actors.

Details on the deal have been made public, and it will most likely pass.

They got just about all they wanted, except for most AI demands...

The writers can use AI for their work and get credited but studios will still get to use AI pretty much how they see fit...

So instead of not using AI at all like some suggested, the writers/studios pretty much are gonna going with AI material...

For writers AI may not be a big problem but actors are a different story...

We will see how the SAG agreement goes about AI in a few weeks...
