Since the time that it's been used as a negative, do you think Karen has become less popular to give baby girls? I can't imagine naming someone Karen in this era

Yes.

It would probably return in 30 years.

Also in Japanese Karen (pronounced Kah Ren) means lovely/beautiful, so the more weebier society will be, there will be higher chance.

It wasn't popular anyway, but I don't think it helped.

I reckon Alexa is probably the name that that has declined the most sharply.

https://www.familyeducation.com/naming-trends/bye-karen-and-brandon-why-baby-names-declined-in-popularity-in-2022

Karen has dropped in popularity as a baby name in recent years. But was already a name that had declined a lot in popularity since the 1960s, which is why it was associated with entitled middle aged women in the first place.

According to the same article, Brandon has dropped off a lot as a baby name. And names that sound like "Corona" like Corey and Coraline became less popular after the pandemic.

It was already an unpopular name and hasn't been popular in decades. That's precisely why the name became the meme. It was a name overwhelmingly associated with a specific generation of women.
