He has sexual assault allegations from both his time in WWE AND his time in UFC, as well as various instances like the above (He has said he does drugs so that he doesn't abuse his children, etc.) Thus, between two companies' worth of problems, he was a pretty obvious let go. The only surprising thing was that he wasn't announced day one. tl;dr: He's a self-admittedly very, very unstable person, and that caught up to him.
