Depending on the area, sure.

Baby babbling typically sounds different depending on the language of the parents.

There's a video where a baby in a signing family does the sign version of babbling, it's neat.

It's also interesting to see different onomatopoeia for the same thing, e.g. "meow" and "nyan."

(Even though as far as I'm concerned neither of those are accurate. It sounds more like "mrowl," rhyming with "growl.")

cats have a surprising variety of sounds. sometimes it's a meow. sometimes a nya. sometimes a mrowl. sometimes a "MRAAA" on repeat. my lil anduin has a cute lil raspy mrap

I remember toward the end of her life my last cat started to "yowl." In hindsight we really didn't take it for the warning sign it probably was...
