Basically, in 2015 or 2016, a girl was taken into hospital custody and parents were cut off from access. The hospital didn't believe a previous doctor's diagnosis and accused the parents of abusing their daughter, when they were just trying to treat her condition Anyway, she was held for months and eventually a different doctor finally told the court that the original diagnosis was correct and that the girl is not being abused. She was released back to her dad only, because unfortunately her mom couldn't make it to that day and had committed suicide Now the dad is trying to get justice. The girl herself might take the stand during the trial. She's like 18 now I think. I saw the trial started, and found out there a documentary so in the middle of it now. It's so fucked up ... why didnt the mom just wait I doubt this was just about the daughter. There were likely other mental health problems and being cut off from her daughter just exacerbated them in a major way. I'm not a mental health expert or anything, I just know from experience that when your mind starts going in that direction, it's hard to think rationally. --- God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes, 'cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose. - Everlast ...
