It was kinda mid honestly. I so wanted the idiots saying it looked like a mere expansion before it even released to be wrong but they were right. It didn't do enough to justify being a sequel.

It was meh for me. But so was BOTW. I really hated how annoying simple tasks were in TOTK. Like having to scroll through a long ass horizontal menu when trying to add a fusion to an arrow. Or having to drop items I think if you wanted to fuse them to a weapon. I also found it annoying how easy it is to activate your companions. And then when you actually want to use them, they go run off somewhere.

Every time someone mentions it I try to watch the current speedrun record, get bored and skip to the last fight.

BotW is like my game of the generation.

TotK is the perfect example of "less is more"
