I might get it a bit more than you'd realize. People on the path I'm on don't fit in with the Christians or the Jews. In corporate Israel they were fresh out of Egypt and very stuck in Egyptian ways. So I guess God had 0 tolerance for violating his Law. He had to make clear his standards and that there wasn't much wiggle room. But with the coming of Yeshua he taught more the message repent and sin no more. He just wants us to walk in his ways I've done plenty that deserves death according to the Law. We all break plenty of his Law on a daily basis.
