Is this going to be good or no

looks more interactive but also more of the same.

I downloaded the beta but I didnt play it cause I needed to make an account and I was too lazy

I only saw gameplay of an old map ( the jewelry store one)

Same game which is good if you like the 2nd one. Absolutely not paying $40 for a live service title tho.

The beta was great, and I loved Payday 2 so I'm here for it.

Tempted to get it

I liked Payday 2 of what I played but I got in too late to really play with a group

Payday 2 was fun, I got it on release and enjoyed it a lot

I would play with randoms too

eventually the game updated too much and I hardly recognized it

Payday 2 was really great for a while. In 2019/2020 it was the most fun game I had. (Disclaimer: When I say it was great I don't mean conventionally well crafted and polished, I mean it was the dumbest chaos simulator ever but it was entertaining as fuck.)

Recent updates really fucked it up though. They dropped support for part of the playerbase in exchange for some EGS deal. Lobbies were screwed up for a while. Recent updates had been quietly ruining things and trying to push people toward new OP DLC weapons/attachments for a while too.
I don't trust 3. I heard about the always online/possibly denuvo/in-game currency.

Even if 3 isn't that bad, it's gonna start off simple and boring. It'll need a while to evolve into the same kind of giant smorgasbord of mismatched crossovers that Payday 2 was.

It's gonna be $40? That is honestly surprising.

It's so fucked on PS5 right now. I didn't know I got early access with the silver edition but it's some of the most incompetent shit I've seen. Get this. The PS5 version is OLD. They released the wrong version. It's old and out of sync with the PC and Xbox. The matchmaking just doesn't work and there's no private lobbies to even play alone.

What a shit show. I thought it was weird they didn't do the beta on PS5 and now it's clear they fucking should have. Idiots.

The beta was fun, but the graphics look dated already and it felt so barebone. The guns just have no impact feeling when you shoot them. Since its gamepass Ill be playing it
