The last year or so.

actually, those pages are the only reason I even regularly visit the website this time, but the Pokemon one caught my attention in particular.

Seeing these isolated scenes 1 clip/second at a time over many many months makes you realize Jessie and James and Meowth are like the only real characters in that entire series. Ash, Brock, and Misty are basically just blank slates with some simple character traits, and the earlier episodes feel like more of a comedy, but they never evolve past that. Jessie and James and Meowth all have, like, backstories? And you feel bad for them? Ash and the others just dont lol

Ash doesn't have a backstory because, like, you basically get in on the ground floor... Misty's personality is bike stolen and Brock's dad went from out in the rain and into the drying pan

The Team Rocket "Final" episode hit me about just as hard as the Ash v Leon.

A frame a day? Wouldnt it take like 100 years to get through episode 1?

Its more like 20 frames an hour when Facebook isnt being fucky about bot posts
