This isn't about who is a better writer, but more about how the writing styles are very different. On Reddit, I noticed topics that involve STEM majors such as CS and math are more objective based and lack fluidity in their tone and voice. It always feels choppy like I'm reading some instruction manual. It's as if people are writing out sentences like a math equation without caring for the nuances that make up a writer's voice. I hate the fact that I'm becoming this type of writer.

In contrast, Art majors such as English and Philosophy write so eloquently; to the point where talent in writing is easily recognizable. Sometimes I catch myself amazed at the word choice and how the sentences are creatively structured to illustrate the author's point. I think to myself, that even if I take a whole bunch of psychedelics, I'll never be able to write 1/20th as good as that.

Writing is like playing an instrument. STEM majors will always be good at memorizing the notes with precision, but when compared to Arts majors, will lack the creative flow to make the sound into music.
