Why is he named Shulk? Is it meant to mean or reference something?

I worked most of the others out.
Reyn = Close enough to Ryan, Rain maybe? I give it a pass.
Melia = Amelia without the A. Fair.
Fiora = Italian for flower. Works.
Dickson = This is actually a name.
Mumkhar = Has kind of an desert marauder sound to it. I'm gonna barely let it slide.
Dunban = I know it's the joke from the review, but it really is basically Duncan.
Sharla = Somewhere between Charlotte and Sheila? Sounds plausible enough.
Riki = Ricardo.
Egil = It's Evil with a single letter swapped. Hmm.

And then there's Shulk. People make the She-Hulk joke but some of the characters in the game aren't even saying it like that, they're pronouncing it "Shoolk".

Oh, that's a good one.
Either he was some kind of chosen one from the start or Dickson renamed him when he found him and his true identity is lost forever.

Talk about big brain there, I always thought it was just Japanese people not knowing how English name works.

They could have given him a real name like Andy or Lawrence.
