Dude's in his 30s, had a relationship with Marion when she was a "child" in her words.

She's definitely speaking hyperbolically but there's clearly an age gap of several years between them.

Since ten years passed that means Jones was in his 20s and she was a teen when they were a thing

His response in the movie to this is "you knew what you were doing"

But, yeah. It's definitely implied that the character is younger than the actor.

Yea she was like 15. He was 25 and was her dad's protege/TA/student

I mean, debutante balls were still a big social thing for upper class denizens in the 1920s (when Marion and Indy would have first hooked up) and the girls who became "available" were usually aged between 16 and 18. It wasn't exactly unheard of for their suitors to be young men already attending university. So yeah, very off-putting by our cultural attitudes but not unusual for the circumstances of the characters themselves.

Supposedly, there's an interview where George Lucas wanted her to be 12 and settled on her being 15; stating that the dynamic wouldn't have been interesting if she'd been any older than that. I don't know if it's true or not. It's easy to make things up on the internet. At least when you're talking about old magazine interviews from the 1980s.
