They tried to use it in a country I'm not in lol and it's a card I dont use much. But now I'm paranoid that my other accounts may be compromised since I got multiple accounts at the same bank under my name.

I'm gonna go to the bank on Monday to sort it out, but I really dont want to deal with this bullshit when I'm about to travel abroad >_>

Even if it sounds ridiculous and tedious, still call them again after you get it straightened out to tell them you are about to travel so they don't lock it for fraud protection the day after you leave.

I work at a bank; just because your debit card is compromised does not mean that your account is compromised. Bank can tell if your fraud was done by debit card or through ACH of your actual account.

If its debit card, you just need a new card and to file a claim.

If its account number, you fucked up son and you need to create new accounts and reset any automatic payments.

I got a fraud alert and it just said card ending in these 4 digits attempted to make a $1 purchase on Amazon in some random country at 2am.

Do you think it's just the card then?

Yeah that sounds like it was the debit card. When you have fraud or you lose the card you'll get a new card with a new number on it. If you have anything like a subscription set up automatically through your debit card you'll have to reset those (but if set up w/ account number those wont be interrupted).

And as someone that works at the bank you dont actually have to go to the bank, you can just call the number on the back of your card to file a claim and they can take care of it from there. If you actually go to the bank (at least mine) all we're doing for you is making the same exact call for you with you there with us.

no problem happy to help and btw what the process typically looks like is they give you a temporary credit, usually immediately but sometimes can take a few days, and they just do a little investigation behind the scenes and your temporary credit becomes a permanent credit at the end.
