I have like 4 hours just on this 2 inch piece. This is my first real attempt though, so a lot of stuff I'm learning little by little like what colors to mix and experimenting to get the desired result. But it all comes down to details. Think the character is too thin and most details are way too small unlike something like warhammer space marines where they're chunkier.

Still not finished. I also dont have the correct brushes for this. Im using a 1, but the tip isnt very pointy and its not helping me do precise details. Im aware some areas need a second layer like skin and shirt. Critique and destroy mi first mini.

p.s. I have no idea what the bottom part is supposed to be. Maybe fire? Ended up painting in dark copper tone and it looks literally crap, though its well covered at least

Ive painted plenty of minis and theyre all absolutely mid at best. Just enjoy yourself!
