Like Im not gonna lie I get childish at times like most us do. i really dont think negatively of you, I think youre brilliant in a lot of ways but I also think you can be arrogant, dismissive, and are often wrong when you dont stay in your own lane. But I do apologize cause I didnt expect the topic to dry up. I figured my post was gonna get ignored and forgotten in actual discussion Id come back to read (pseudo tagging it). Unless you are talking about sociopolitical issues, in which case telling a scientist he cannot talk about sociopolitical issues because they are not explicitly what he studies is silly. But I have a feeling it derives from a different place. People get on my shit all the time because I discuss mental illness as a health and disease issue. That's where I've been told to "stay in my lane", in conversations where I discuss mental disorders and disease as biomedical illnesses. But that's literally not out of my lane. Like it or not, CE is very right-wing in comparison to your average community of 20-40 year old highly educated people. And many of them get their rocks off trying to make left wing people look crazy and aggressive by repeatedly doing the same schtick of innocently asking the same questions over and over again, hoping that onlookers will view the response as disproportionate and crazy. I would say the majority of my posts are pretty positive and light hearted.
