I did a couple years back because a roommate who we took in so he wouldn't he homeless after his mom kicked us out for being gay called the cops on my wife and her mom. Such a frustrating situation, I'm so disappointed in how far that kid fell even if it might not have been entirely his fault.

Curious how many other people have had to deal with it.

Oh I guess I did too when I was a teen, I was an idiot and hit a sign and tree, was able to drive the car home so my mom had me do that so I could calm down, they showed up as we were leaving for the police department to file a report lol

Yeh. My brother is kinda shit.

Yeah, to file a stolen goods report - a (now ex) friend of my brother swiped my family's laptop.

Once when I was little, there were people digging in our garage. Guys were arrested.

One more recently with a drunk girl that walked into our house. We tried to help get her a ride by offering to let her use a phone to call someone. She called random people and wasted time by trying to strike up a conversation with them. After the 3rd time we told her she needed to call someone to pick her up or we would be calling the police as she had woken are kids up by then and I was losing my patience. She stumbled out of the house as we were calling. They found here next to someone's yard a few houses down.
