It's loud enough to be annoying but doesn't sound like a large animal like a mouse. It seems like it might be a lady bug hopefully.

A bunch of them got stuck inside my old dorm's bathroom light bulb cover. When I had to change out the bulb before moving there were probably hundreds of them dead inside.
