He snapped turn 6 without remembering Mojo, skipped turn 5 and did a Hulk + She-Hulk play.

The nerf to Collector was needed. The buff to Ham is...nothing still. The buff to Black Cat and Sif is definitely welcome.

Just started playing this like 2 weeks ago and this game is great.

Midway through pool 2 right now and really enjoying that every card gained now seems to fit in some decks.

What are some decks you guys started relying on during pool 2 and onwards?

This is probably the only time in a long time I paid for the season pass just specifically for Loki. This guy is insane and the nerf to Collector makes a lot sense why.

I started not long ago as well and just broke into Pool 3, when I was still in Pool 2 I was flying up the ranks with an Infinaut deck (hell its still winning a bunch even in early pool 3 with no adjustments despite how telegraphed it is) but fairly bog standard Zoo decks or Dino decks should also carry you pretty easily through Pool 2. Once you break into Pool 3 you'll just need to see what kind of cards you pull early and hope you get something you can build around, youll also unlock the ability to claim 1 free pool 3 card every season once you reach pool 3 so you can scope those out and try to scoop up one that is build defining (the choice rotates every 8 hours so with some patience you should get something good eventually)

Pool 2? I ran a Zoo deck and was doing well until they made Killmonger available in Pool 2. I usually stick to an Ongoing deck since that is probably the most solid deck to make with the available cards at your disposal.

Zoo decks can pretty easily get around killmonger by just keeping the majority of 1 cost cards in hand to do a big drop on turn 6. You will basically never have priority going into turn 6 so theres nothing they can do to stop it at that point

I've heard nothing but miserable things in what I've seen about Loki and am honestly not missing playing this, which is really sad because it had such potential

Yeah my ongoing deck with Onslaught and Spectrum has been carrying me pretty hard.

Also unlocked Vision early in and although it can be hard to set up sometimes a move deck is very fun to play.

Unlocked Storm after and started a little control deck which has been fun as well although I think I need a few more good cards for that to be really good.

Ravonna is out. I sense some nutty decks coming into play, plus a back-up for Mr Negative decks.

I'd say a C3(minus Bast), Mr Negative, or Darkhawk deck works really well with her. I just noticed she doesn't count BASE power, which...is very annoying tbh.

Its in the shop, I dont remember if its as soon as you hit Pool 3 or if it requires 500 CL like the Token Shop, you dont have to wait until next month, itll be available as soon as you reach the requirement. The card switches every 8 hours, just make sure to pick one before the month ends

Also for the Spotlight Caches I mentioned, every week there are 3 Spotlight Cards (theyll show up on the CL page) that can be obtained from opening spotlight caches that week (theres a 4th option that is a random Series 4/5 card). In general you want to save spotlight caches until a week comes up with a card you really want to get. The general rule is to save Spotlight Caches until you have 4 so that when a week comes up with a card you really want you are guaranteed to get it by opening 4

For Tier 3 cards to use your free unlock on, it really depends on what decks you want but I'll tell you which ones I prioritized that are easy plug and plays for getting into Pool 3 early.

1. Doctor Doom - He's essentially a 6 cost 15 power because he summons two other Doom Bots that also have 5 power. He was my instant unlock because you can plug and play him in almost any deck, perfect if you're just getting into Pool 3.
2. Patriot - He buffs all your cards with no abilities by 2 power and it's On-going, so you can combo that with Onslaught to give 4 power instead. You already have almost all the cards necessary to play him and the patriot deck is fairly consistent.
3. She-Hulk - She's a 6 cost with 9 power, however because of her ability to can technically "cheat" her out early on turn 4 if you don't play anything by turn 4 because her cost goes down 1 less for each unspent Energy last turn. Perfect to combo with Sunspot.
4. Magneto - Think of him as a better version of Hulk. He costs and has the same power as Hulk, but he has the ability to disrupt your opponents field because he can move opponents other 3 or 4 costs from one location to where he's played.
5. Magik - She's just so fun to play with because she basically turns a 6 turn game into a 7 turn game and can get rid of an unfavorable location at the same time. She was so hard to use back then because she was a 5 cost, but now that she's a 3 cost, you can use her ability more consistently now.

Thanks everyone for the tips. Lots of info I didn't know about that helps out a lot. Saving up some credits now make a big push into pool 3 to get as many chances as I can to start with some good cards.

IIRC the game takes the amount of unspent credits you have (and how many CL levels it potentially represents) into account for matchmaking so sitting at the end of Pool 2 and piling up credits doesn't do much for you, your gonna start to face people with Series 3/4/5 cards anyway and you'll just be sitting there with your Pool 2 decks.

Just spend the credits as you get them and unlock some Pool 3 cards asap, what you pull early in the track will inform you on what to target for your free card. You also want to get to 500 asap to unlock the Token Shop so that you can also target a Series 4 card to compliment your early Pool 3 pulls and free card
