I can trade my iPhone 14 Pro for a $1,000 credit for an iPhone 15 Pro Max. iPhone 15 Pro Max costs $1,200 - $1,000 credit = $200 + $84 (tax on $1,200) + $20 (case) + $20 (screen protector) = $324, rounded up to $350.

Why I want to:
  • Slightly better camera.
Why I don't want to:
  • Literally don't give a crap about any other small incremental changes.
  • I don't like the "Pro Max" form factor, which is why I got the regular "Pro". I'm wondering if Apple will bring all the camera features of the 15 Pro Max into the 16 Pro, and also keep the 16 Pro Max camera array the same as the 16 Pro (like they've done with the Pro vs. Pro Max for years now), or if they will always have the best cameras for the Pro Max series.

I don't see the screen size in "Why I want to" so why not just go with the 15 Pro and save some cash? Especially since you have a Pro right now.

Edit: N/M you edited while I was confirming the price between the Pro and Max.

If the money isn't that big of a deal to you it doesn't matter anyway, but I don't think a single, slight improvement is worth that.

The cameras aren't even that much improved in most real world uses/applications. Apple still uses the oil painting AI filter over pictures so they still look weird when you slightly zoom in on them.

If you take a lot of videos it's worth it but upgrading to a 15 is pointless unless you have a considerably old iPhone.
