When this movie came out a lot of people were talking about ...oh , what would you do if you were in the same situation that hanks' character was in. bigblu89 09/12/23 1:11:58 PM #6:	I really enjoyed that movie, but for obvious reasons there were some very convenient stokes of luck that happened to him once he was stranded. Finding the cave that sheltered him from the elements. There being food on the island, even before he taught himself how to spear fish. The right packages washed ashore. I could go on. Personally, I don't think I would've tried to get off the island, as I don't know if I would've been crafty enough to make the raft. That really spoils all my desert island/stranded in space/isekai fantasies.
