i come from a family with a rich military history and it was a tough decision but i went with college. also i am past the 5 year age limit at this point. Bad shoulder bad knee. Wouldnt be much help.

Honestly not the worst idea. People on forums really think all military people are blood lust murderers. 90 percent of the military work admin job in bases at home. Would be a good way to introduce dieting and exercise. As well as some self discipline which a lot of the public lacks.

most importantly, all the benefits and pay that you set up for life. I would not have the house, money, or benefits in life I have now if wasnt for the military

woah that crazy. i'd feel pity for anyone that got a combat job or gets deployed.

id imagine the work pace would be more chill at the state-side bases for non-combat jobs cuz of all the extra people tho. wouldn't be too bad for them i guess.

What forums are you reading that all say THAT is the reason they don't want to join. Because why military recruitment is on the decline has definitely been discussed here before. And the reason many aren't jumping at the chance to join the military, isn't because "the military is all murderers."
