In case anyone here cares about Tour.

Though this is likely going to be around the same time the final content for the Mario Kart 8 DX Booster Pass drops as well.

Maybe it's finally time to move on to Mario Kart 9.

To be fair a lot of them that aren't gachas will add the events permanently later an example is the Monster Hunter series

Tour hasn't been a gacha in years.

Realistically though the writing is on the wall that Mario Kart 9 is coming for Switch 2 or whatever it's called.
