From what I can tell in a quick search suicide by cop made up 0.2% of suicides in 2019. So no, I would hardly say that is extremely common. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Anti-cop sentiments probably play into it as well, with some people genuinely thinking cops are just out there shooting people all day. ... Copied to Clipboard!
