How many times have you read spoilers for a book, TV show, movie or game?

Happens to me all the time.

I try to avoid them on anything I'm interested in, which can prove difficult thanks to youtube recommendations or other people being inconsiderate.

Depends on the series, but I don't generally tend to avoid spoilers unless it's for a work I'm already actively engaged in. A lot of times I'll stumble across spoilers for something and the spoiler will be so interesting that it'll make me want to check out the rest of it.

I'm so paranoid about spoilers that I won't even type in the name of a series on Google or YouTube.

I actively try to spoil myself for things most of the time. It's better than living in fear of the internet for days or weeks at a time.

I don't care much about spoilers.

Except Monster Hunter. If you tell me which monsters will be in the next game I will fucking end you.

If I read spoilers, then nobody can spoil it for me.

I remember I was stuck on a boss in Persona 3 and was looking up a video on youtube for strategies and literally in the recommend list there's a big fat spoiler video and title. I was so pissed to see that. Thankfully it only happened like an hour after the boss fight but it still pissed me off to have that spoiled for me.

If you're curious, I was looking up strats for the Hanged Man boss and I got spoiled on Ikutsuki betraying SEES.

I avoid spoilers for movies, shows and books.

It depends for games.
If it's a game I play because of story, then I try to avoid spoilers.
If it's a game I'll play regardless, I don't care.

For example, I already watched the entire story for new Mortal Kombat. It's just a few hours and it's not a game you buy for story. It's even kind of better to watch the story like a movie.

Used to happen to me a lot more often here because I had a dark mode setup that made spoiler tags not work.

Also had a few times where I'd do a playthrough or watchthrough topic and people would get excited.

Was doing one for the second season of The Boys and like the second post went off on Stormfront's story.
