"Most craziest thing me and my family just witnessed," Nasir Uddin posted on Facebook.

"A little girl was bitten by a brown dog and locked on. Several people was trying to get the dog to release on Bordesley Green Road. By the time I went up to the dog with a bar I had in the car it released the girl.

"It then went after another boy. My little girl and wife was screaming. I hope the girl and the boy are fine and received treatment and the dog is caught and dealt with.

"Why do people walk these dogs without a leash knowing their reputation?"

A full West Midlands Police statement read: "We're investigating after three people were bitten by a dog in Birmingham yesterday (9 September).

"An 11-year-old girl ran past the dog as it was being walked by its owner in Bordesley Green, when she was bitten.
"Two men intervened but were bitten and left with injuries to their shoulders and arms.

And also pit bulls are the only breed of dogs that regularly attack humans like that. No other breed is nearly as violent.

I think the key word is "regularly," though. When pit bulls make up 2/3rds of all attacks, then yeah, that's really the only one you can say "regularly" about.

That's just not true. Empiric data clearly shows that Pitbulls are more often involved in deadly and non-deadly attacks than any other dog breed.

No one is saying that all Pitbulls are dangerous. But they are more dangerous than any other dog breed.

nah, dog attacks are incredibly rare and pitbull attacks are also incredibly rare. when you have millions of dogs and only hundreds of dog attacks per year the number of pitbulls that attack people are a fraction of a fraction of a percent
