Do you like Female lead bands?
In modern music, they seem to have the edge.

Retro, you might like The Go's-Go's.

I'm pretty sure I've heard an Alvvays song somewhere. I don't remember where, but I recall liking it.
But yeah, Courtney Barnett is awesome. Pedestrian at Best is part of my workout/running playlist.

Also, I agree with all the love for the Pixies being shared here. Their first three albums are the shit.

I pretty much loved the whole album overall. I also realized that it was released in 2004, which explains a lot in terms of the style.
