I don't know anything about anime. Would I possibly enjoy the live action version One Piece if I enjoyed the live action version of Cowboy Bebop?

From what I've seen of it, it does a pretty decent retelling of part of the first season. There are some things they skip or change from the manga/anime, but its actually fairly well done.

maybe, people who have watched both without watching either animes have liked both, and people who have watched both while also have watched both animes have hated da LA Bebop and liked da OP live action

Thanks. Like I said, I don't know anything about the anime so I would have no idea if anything thing changed. I guess I'm just wondering if it has a similar vibe/humor to Cowboy Bebop.

Haven't finished it yet but I have pretty much nothing but nice things to say about it.

Only just finished Alabasta though.

It was ok.

The actors did fantastic. Some of the CGI was kinda bad, and some of the scenes felt a little amateurish. Just a few scenes, but they felt more like a high quality fan film rather than a full budget show. Some parts were rather cringey at points.

But really, overall, it's easily far and away the best anime/manga adaptation I've seen. It was fun, captured the characters really well and they were all likable.

I'm sure I didn't enjoy it as much as others seem to have, but that's ok. Because even though I just thought it was ok, it's getting good reactions overall and I'll definitely watch a second season(if it gets one *fingers crossed*)

Thoroughly enjoyed it and hope they continue it.

I know a lot of people who dont watch any anime who really liked the One Piece Netflix show. I never saw the Cowboy Bepop show but I heard it was terrible and they tried to hard to normalize the more outrageous parts of the anime, which did not work out well.

One Piece doesnt try to normalize the anime much at all, the costumes are ridiculous, the world is ridiculous, the powers are ridiculous, but that just all adds to the charm of the show. Its such a fun world and the Netflix show does so good in capturing all the heart of the anime and really makes you care about the characters.
