Like, let's say that you're writing about a vampire and people want you to make another vampire story. (Or to follow up with a werewolf story.) Or maybe you're writing the next Star Wars and they want you to turn around and write the next Star Trek. Or maybe you're writing a love story and they want you to go on writing love stories. Would you try and branch out or would you be happy staying close to what you're currently writing?
