Apart from the obvious hypno / MC fetish, the tell for me was when the blonde popped her shoes and socks off before sitting down on a bed. Like, there was no reason plot or otherwise for her to do that; there are no ad-libs in hand-drawn animation, and 9 out of 10 animators / illustrators will tell you that feet are hard enough to draw that they avoid them when they can.
