You won't get a CEman to give it to you straight but I will-

A lot of the time, your member will have a mind of its own. Sometimes when you're ready and raring to go your third brain just can't be bothered. Sometimes you've thrusting for a good 5-10 minutes and you're just not going to have an orgasm. Shit just doesn't work sometimes.

What's important to remember is that sex is more than just penetration, it's fun, it's intimate, it can even be goofy or funny. This sounds really counterintuitive but being stressed about performing is only going to make you perform worse. You have to be able to relax, and put your partner first. If you can't keep it up, use your hands or your mouth.

Just some general knowledge -

  • Sex is a workout, the better shape you're in, the better it's going to be.
  • Try not to stress out about it, especially if you're with a partner you have a really good relationship with, you can communicate all your worries and still be fun and intimate together. Anyone that's been in a long-term relationship understands that sometimes you both are just not ready together.
  • Don't forget to take care of yourself, exercising is one thing but also eating right can all lead to better blood flow, better technique, etc.
  • And this is a more personal one, but always take care of your partner first. Every time my girl and I do the deed, I always make sure she finishes first before there's any penetration. Regardless of how my homie is cooperating, she always gets 1 or 2 before I do. If you put your partner first, and they do the same for you, you'll both end happy.
  • If all else fails, go see a doctor. People are so whiny about their masculinity, that they don't feel like they can talk to a doctor about it, but there's a reason drugs exist. Sometimes they're enough to get you over the finish line.
  • Adding this posthumously, breathing was also a good tip. Don't hold your breath, but regulate your breathing so it's steady. Before you finish, you'll tend to hyperventilate, if you can keep it contained, you can probably add some longevity

Definitely stop. Especially if you're having regular sex.

Just to clarify you probably don't have to quit entirely, but definitely stop while you're having trouble maintaining. Once you're performing more regularly you can probably add it a smidge but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't need it.

I have the opposite problem, I bust way too quick. Not sure if I unintentionally trained my body to do that or its some genetic sensitivity or predisposition. Either way I address it with pacing and mixing in non-intercourse and/or pregaming. All the tips from Cemith are on point too. Try and relax and respond to your partner + open communication.

Are you taking about being premature? There's medication you can take for that.

In general though, you can do kegel exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles (makes it easier to delay/hold back yourself) and just practice on stopping and starting to last a bit longer.

Not a fan of drugs and side effects, that would be last resort if all else failed. Ive heard about kegels but not even sure what thats supposed to help with. Sure maybe you can hold it back so to speak but the mental state of orgasm itself has occurred regardless? Or is strengthening that muscle somehow going to slow down the onset of that mental switch? And if so how much kegeling is required to see results?

It's the former. You know how when you pee, you can use the muscles down there to stop the pee? It's those muscles that also control your orgasm coming out. So if those muscles are strong enough, you can hold it back for longer. And with enough practice (a lot of practice), you can actually stop it from coming out. So you get the pleasure, with little to no recovery period after. So you can just keep going.
