I can't remember which platform it's on but it's either SNES or N64. It's 2D and you're like a ninja in Japanese/Chinese themed era and you can transform into animals like a tiger. That's all I remember. I used to play it all the time as a kid. I've searched so many top X games for SNES and N64 but I can never find it.

Reminds me of Wolfchild slightly but I'm pretty sure that wasn't Japanese/Chinese themed at all.
