Seems like Ive got one that does mail, and one that does packages.well, packages that cant fit in the mailbox.
Ive had this happen a couple times, you should be alright. Sometimes they deliver things randomly.

Sometimes. I've seen them come around a second time in the day with just packages. Usually just comes with the other mail, though.

I usually get it with regular mail but there might be a second shipment when it's busy. I know I had a one-off Sunday delivery around Christmas a few years ago.

Not sure how it works in America but in Australia the posties dont take items over a certain size. Anything too large is delivered separately by a courier.

We don't have Amazon delivery drivers in Hawaii, so they still rely on the USPS to deliver their packages. I've seen a separate USPS van that just delivers large packages. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah, I have gotten late packages after the mail runs earlier in the day plenty of times.
