Just got to the Cave of the Gi / Cosmo Canyon story part.

<___< This place is generous as fuck with its Exp. I'm already overleveled at 35 for Cloud and low 30s for everyone else.

Gonna get myself back up to like 30K gil just to have a buffer because I've noticed things are uh... getting somewhat pricy.

I've generally enjoyed the game so far. Some parts show their age. Otherwise I'm engaged and despite the near month long break I took to play a fuck ton of Theatrhythm, I didn't forget much of the story, who/what/why/where.

At that point isn't she.....

Calling it now, the third FFVIIR is going to be called Reunion.

I almost missed the report in the Piano room.

I haven't been back since. <_< The guide i'm using hasn't been indicating when to go back and that's a decent trip, even at 3x speed

I've stuck just 3x speed. I don't mind random encounters, especially at 3x speed except for the fact enemies attack fast af and the game doesn't 'pause' enemy attacks until you're actively in the menu

cant even remember what the rewards are but I remember its a permanent missable if you go back too late

Mastering a transform materia is the easiest one to master early for sale.

Sniper CR + Deathblow this early sounds like cheesy mode

I blinked and I went from level 39 to Level 41 with Cloud lol <___<

For money sell a couple mastered all materia, they go for 1.4mil a piece. Also don't sleep on enemy skill materia.

Aqualung is so op lmao its a free All that one shots everything not classified as a Boss and that Dragon in Mount Nibel.

lol i accidentally wondered into the Wutai side quest <_<

I know the gist of the quest is that Yuffie steals your Materia but she left me one 3 star Fire Materia.

Is that supposed to happen or did I just get lucky through a glitch?

She can only steal a certain amount so if you have enough materia you'll still have some left over iirc. It's happened to me.

I started replaying it too a little bit ago. I still love it as much as I did back then.

Best Bromance in the bag, oh yeah.

FF7's a decent game, but the quality starts dropping a bit after disc 1. I think 9 is better overall. Plus, 7 is too easy and glitchy, and the localization kind of sucks.

Red XIII's Cosmo Memory just did 6500 damage to Demon's Gate

the boss only has 10K health

Not a particular fan of this Cloud/Sephiroth dynamic nor any of the potential reasonings behind why. <_<

I'm guessing it probably has to do with the experiences that SOLDIER puts the candidates through, but I'm also expecting just something dumb

The enemies around Mideel and in Junon (activate the alarm) are a great source of AP if you want to master some materia. Get Beta or Aqualung and tear them apart.

FF7 may have been the easiest main FF game (besides the various mini games that, admittedly, were tough to max out).

Found the Key to the Ancients without even really trying <_<

Huh, I've had the Highwind for a while now and only after quitting and reloading into the game did it actually play the Highwind's theme in the overworld.

I thought the depressing overworld theme was a stylistic choice and that the overworld theme would eventually go back to being its old self (probably post-story)
