the pizza sucks but goes a long way. If you're lactose intolerant, FYI they use cheddar.
Chicken Bakes are the shit but I wouldn't get a membership just for that. (The rare Carne Asada bake was even better.)

Gas prices come at a cost of being stuck in a line for a good while.

BUT, if you have a shopping gameplan with bulk to be super efficient, then it all works. Also time your visits right so it's not a time-waster of a visit. I do think it's a "sum of it's parts" thing.

Can confirm, there used to be one nearby me since the early 2000s. Apparently it was the very first Costco built into a shopping mall. But the food court was outside the store and basically doubled as the mall's food court in general.

They made the IDIOTIC decision to remove it back in 2020, and now there's a fucking American Furniture Warehouse in its place. And the food court is just empty wasted space now.

Same goes for Sam's Club. However, not every items are cheap, though. My favorite from Sam's Club would be Garden Salad because they will keep fresh for almost a week because they use vacuum-bag. Yeah, Food Court is ridiculous cheap too.

Btw, Sam's Club doesn't require membership card for food court ,but you will need card to buy or some facilities ie pharmacy, glasses, etc.

Just walk in the exit, say you're getting a membership, and walk to the food area.

I'm not positive on all the layouts of every costco, but of the 10~ or so I've been to, the food court is after you buy all your items and they don't need your card to buy anything.

Again, this could be a Florida thing, but I have been to Costco's in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, among other states and they're all very similar to here, where you only need your card to buy the warehouse goods, not the actual food court food.

The worst that happens is you get denied.

Anyway, I personally think it's worth it for what I pay. It's like $120 a year for the whatever membership, and you get 2% back on all purchases, so I normally get like a thing for $80-$100 back every year and just apply that to my membership, so I'm really only paying like $20-$40 a year. Now granted I spend a fuck load at Costco.

I'd absolutely go just to see the sushi pizza in person.

The Costco in Utah was like 2x the size of a normal costco and was likely used to furnish and supply actual restaurants. They sold entire half sides of cows there. It was insane. Their freezer section was like 1/4 of the store. They also sold frying units, refridgerator units, grills, and shit.

Basically if you had a restaurant, I assume you bought your shit there.

The Costco I go to has an outdoor food court, and they don't ask for membership. I just go up to the kiosk and order with my regular Visa card. I do that like once a month since 2020, and I last order food 2 weeks ago.

Lets see...

I use an average of 16 gal of gas a week.

16 gal * 52 weeks = 832 gal per year

On average, Costco gas is 7 cents cheaper per gal.

832 gal per year * $0.07 = $58.24 savings

A membership is $60.

So prob not.

Yes, it's great, though less for low prices and more because you can easily get quality versions of foreign foods that are really hard to find at reasonable prices (such as bacon, Japanese "bacon" is just ham cut to look like bacon).

Gas is still cheap though so it's easily worth it just for that.

Sushi... pizza? That is not a thing I have ever heard of. Maybe you're thinking of chirashizushi, which is assorted raw fish and things on a bed of sushi rice?

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/4/5/1/AAAJePAAEz-L.jpg

It's very good, but it's not pizza. It's just Costco's version of a sushi dish that already existed.

Their regular pizza is cheaper and better than any delivery chain so we get that a lot. Another great menu item here is the bulgogi bake, which is like the chicken bake but instead it's stuffed with Korean marinated beef (AKA bulgogi). Those are amazing.

From what i've seen it takes a lot. Theft obviously is a big reason for it happening. Kind of. You can walk to the membership and ask for a temporary, one-time-use membership. People do this all the time. They give you a paper with the barcode on it, which the cashier either scane or manually types in.
