Tbh it's also questionable to cry at those. Only one I could excuse is movies perhaps and only at a theater since people get emotional in large gatherings.

-The ending of Mother 3.
-The sequence of events at the end of Chapter 5 in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

The good ending to Bioshock.

And the only part that made me really cry in FF14 was Nanamo relieving Raubahn of duty and sending him to Ala Mhigo.

I've teared up a few times, but that's usually because my journey that I've put weeks of my free time into had come to an end, and it's been a long time since that happened. The one I remember the strongest was ff9. I wasn't ready for my time with the characters and world to be over.

Metal Gear Solid 4 got me in the ending at least twice. The biggest being when Otacon talked about Snake living a hard life and needing time to rest.

MGS2 got me fucking bad with Emma, too. Especially when the parrot was saying "Hal, I miss you" after she died. I was watching my brother play that one back in the day, and I had to excuse myself for a solid 10 minutes to break down in the bathroom lol

To the point of crying and shouting at the moon:
Various studios & series ruined by EA ... rip

Not to the point of crying but real sad:
1.) Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals
I knew what was going to happen but still, the ending hit me hard.

2.) Shadow Hearts: From the New World
The pacing was atrocius but for the final stretch of the game I kept hoping "please god don't let it end like this..."

3.) Gris
No dialogue, simple, sad.

I think of a video game with a sad ending like RDR2 and remember how I felt playing through it. Outside of cutscenes I was doing all kinds of crazy shit with Arthur, blowing away people left and right. Some missions you kill like 20 people on.

The ending I could acknowledge as sad in its own right but there's not really enough happenings to move me to tears, it's never gonna come close to as real life as a really powerful movie like Grave of the Fireflies or something

I usually don't cry at stuff, even though I am a decently emotional person and I don't think it's bad for men to cry at stuff...

But then there's the ending of that episode of Futurama where Fry clones his dog from the 20th century. If you have not seen it...try not to cry. I'm not even a "dog person".

Also the beginning of Pixar's UP made me cry.

Not much else I can think of.
