The important one is in Missouri, not Kansas.

I have a Friend who is a legit KC fan.

The funny thing is, we are in Upstate NY.

Lillian Russel had a summer place in town here, during the Victorian era.
One might say she was Rubenesque. Lillains was the name of the Resturant in town.
But in her time she rode in excessively extravagant carriages on Broadway and out to the Lake.

Which makes the joke in this opening so much better.

It is also really great how Ginger dances argues until Reveille is called.

^^Wow That is actually a really good scene.

I've watched the movie before, but that was like 30 years ago.
The Dancing is cool...But also, now I have to just some of those lyrics to mess with my friend and his sister.
There is some dry humor in there.

I live just a few minutes outside KCMO. Honestly not bad. The spot I live, I live in a small city, but can be in downtown KC in less than half an hour.

Will say, my biggest surprise about living in this area is the quality of food places. And I don't just mean BBQ or anything like that. I mean, some of the best Sushi, Ramen, Indian Thai, ect places I've ever been too.

My brother lives there

I've always thought that if shit gets real over here in Florida, I'd just move over there and live with him.

Florida is real. From the outside looking in, I can say that.

Odd, I you for some reason The Minneapolis area.
I do think it's cool knowing where abouts people are from it just makes the convos more interesting.
But I have you tagged as, Played Child of Eden!

Also, I want to add, that my friends family is from the KC region, so it's just sports. |
Pretty sure they are up here because his dad woked with Nukes for the Navy.

Anyway, this thread has been fun.
I want to post picture, but I don't want to kill the vibe, but it's some good dry humor.

Kansas City is cheap as hell, even with the bullshit earnings tax, if you live outside of the core.
I bought a house in what used to be Nashua, for $50k, ten years ago.

Smithville and Gladstone are still cheap suburbs.
St. Joseph, 25 miles up I-29, is also cheap.

Liberty and Kearney are not cheap. Avoid those

And yeah Child of Eden is great! I keep on meaning to drag my 360 out and give it another playthrough. Genuinely one of my favorite games ever made

First, knock out that degree.
You're well-spoken, you got this.

I'm not sure you were from up there?

And ya my 360 shit the bed.
I can't believe that to this day it is the only way to play it.
I am not above watching videos of it. That really is a Masterpiece.
