Common sense.

Theyre angry for a reason, no friends no job no social life no money no whatever it is, so hopefully they find what theyre looking for and stop being mean.

People who are deliberately mean are worse. A person who simply doesn't know better can be encouraged to change.

read, at least a few people in this topic who say they meet mean people extremely , extremely rarely. Like one said he has never met a mean spirited person. Uh...i don't know.

A lot of people in here are equating intelligence and knowledge. A lot of people aren't capable of learning what you try to teach them.

I generally prefer mean people as long as they're also competent, generally easier to work with if only because their quality of work is more reliably good. With the stupid people you have to double check everything they do that's of any importance. And they tend to ask the same questions and make the same mistakes over and over.

Mean is way worse

Mean spirited for sure. Stupid people can always learn even if they're not as good at it. Mean spirited people are just insufferable and awful to be around.
