For non-subscribers: They are demanding that they themselves run the 2024 GOP primary, not the state. And they want it to be their dream election scenario. No vote by mail, only on Election Day, all paper ballots and counted by hand. And of course they claim they will have all the results before the majority of the public is in bed, which is laughably untrue.

Also, this would cost them around $13 million to do, and they are broke as fuck right now.

I say let them do it. I love watching a good train wreck as much as anyone else does.

They want their state to turn blue and stay blue. That's the only answer.

The AZ GOP is crazy even by Republican standards, and that's really fucking saying something

Arizona and Georgia should be purple-leaning-red states, but they are case studies in moderates being turned off by batshit politics of one party so much to the point of eother not voting, or voting blue just to keep the crazies from office.

Georgian Republicans seem to be planning for a post-Trump party to make the state red again, but it seems the Arizona GOP is just intent on sabotaging themselves.

Arizona isn't nearly red enough for them to be so crazy. Kelly was a strong candidate, but beatable. Hobbs would not have won against any half-sane opponent.
