I had to go to the park to see it. It was low in the sky and so large, for a moment I thought I had mistaken a new gold globular light for the moon. When a super Moon is low it seems like you could get close enough to touch it. It was bright enough to be visible behind trees.

I went out last night and looked at it. We don't get good horizon moons often because the pretty mountains get in the way.
