Seeing these guys break down and realize they done goofed, were lied to and beg for forgiveness in front of national TV is probably way more important in terms of healing the country than whatever prison sentence they get.
Cool. I hope the bastards rot, personally.

Wish we could label and get rid of antifa as well. Axe both extremes of the fucking political spectrum.

Get rid of anti-fascists?

Hmmmmmmmmmm...

That sounds remarkably pro-fascist.

Not sure, but I believe I read that the judge was already out of the room when it happened.

I've never heard of that but it's certainly not going to help him out at any parole hearings

The DoJ has appealed the sentences of some of the people convicted of seditious conspiracy, but I'm not sure what's going to come of that. There was one guy who was convicted of seditious conspiracy who got a 3 year prison sentence.

It's federal, so no parole.

Those sentences are way to lenient. People who sold weed have longer sentences for that. The system is a complete joke.

I know they're appealing Stewart Rhodes' 18 year sentence. They wanted 25 for him. I can't seem to find an article that definitively lists all of the appeals, but the ones they mentioned seem to be centered around the Oath Keepers.

It's why I thought it was because of the last guy's attitude that the judge got pissed off and this dude got a harsher sentence by-proxy.
They were convicted of different things. The jury thought the liar was too stupid. This guy was thought to be a leader, so people like him got convicted of more crimes.

To chime in, there is a very low chance of a successful appeal for either a reduction or increase in the sentence. There is a lot of deference given to the trial court in sentencing, so I would recommend folks not get their hopes up. Or, alternatively, don't freak out about an excessive sentence appeal in any of these cases.
