Moonshine is always illegal. That's what makes it moonshine.

Missouri is the only state where home distilling is legal (but not federally).
You can buy a still at Home Depot

Oh. That's interesting. Still not sure if I'd count it for the classical definition which was basically the British forced the colonists to buy it from them and outlawed making their own and the people who did so anyway in flagrant violation of the law were called moonshiners.

If the British never outlawed it in the first place, moonshiners would have never existed.

where's my goddamn marijuana whiskey?

step 1 - buy whiskey, buy weed
step 2 - decarb your weed in an oven, ~120c for 30 - 45 minutes, lower if fan forced. don't worry about stems too much, they contain thc tho it's only a little
step 3 - steep the weed in the whiskey overnight
step 4 - strain plant matter out of the whiskey
step 5 - drink

thc and cbd are completely soluble in alcohol.

I wonder what a weed tincture would be like if you soaked it in corn moonshine honestly.

Hemp doesn't have enough THC to make doing this useful. You could probably mix some of it into something like the mash used in jagermeister which is various grains and herbs.

Hemp is asstons of cellulose, and the means to make that ethanol have existed since before Jesus.

Which is great for industrial purposes. But... hemp proper won't get you high or drunk, will it?

I feel like you both went back like over a hundred years too far. I always recognized moonshiners with Prohibition

On topic, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a brand of whiskey out there with some THC added...

Someone was getting ready to.

I can't find if they ever got started with their plan, though.

Yes but also no because,

Tyranthraxus posted...
Hemp doesn't have enough THC to make doing this useful.

So you need an everest size piles of hemp to do it.

You can also do this with milk in a microwave if you want to spice up your oatmeal or cheerios. Just don't let the milk come to boil and give it closer to an hour of cooking.
