Heh modern day cowboy this time, not old west. It came out the same year as his other cowboy movie. It tries to trick you by having a predominantly black cast, but its just another "troubled youth (this time inner city teen) goes to a farm/the country and does farm work and learns to be a better person" story which we saw all the time especially in the 90s, Disney being big fans of the trope. It was okay overall. Not the best but the urban cowboy motif was just different enough and I always like these character driven stories more. ... Copied to Clipboard!
