Barbie has been out a lot longer and most people who wanted to see it have already. Barbie is also a mega phenomenon with its success, comparing anything releasing around its run is unfair. From what I was researching it's one of the more accurate "based on a true story" movies and other than a I think 1 name change of a major character the rest of the non-cannon stuff are irrelevant side characters. The crux of why his story is important is accurate, all the way down to the detail of the drama he had with his family over it.
