Respawning bubbulfrogs and retaining the gems is listed as a cheat. I thought it would be fun to try but I could not get it to work. It is called infinite bubbul gems.

Now I am wondering if the videos are shopped.

It is an academic question because I have the Mystic set. But we should all be loyal enough to this site to report bogus info.

Apparently it can only be done at ancient Zora waterworks and apparently it is only good for 20 bubbul gems.

it got patched out early on. only worked for maybe the first month the game was out. maybe not even that long.

i did it. but yea they patched out that and most/all the dupe glitches.

if you are running an old enough version than yea only works in certain caves. i think the map needs to transition to a different area and guess that like resets the bubbulfrog flag in the games code. does let you gain all the rewards faster. not sure if you're supposed to find all the gems to get them all but i think you only need to find closer to half. but been months since i beat the game.

I am playing unpatched.

Are you just guessing the the glitch might work somewhere else than ancient Zora waterworks?
