No I watched a stream of it and it looks terrible. I also heard that the victims have a ridiculous advantage and most matches just devolve to victims trollibg and extending the match time.

Also every single match I saw it took forever for the fucking game to start because of people not hitting ready.

I played 2 matches with a friend. First time we were "Family" and we won. The 4th survivor disconnected and we each got a kill.

2nd time we were survivors, all of us died except 1 dude who clearly knew what he was doing and didn't extend the time. The survivors may or may not have an advantage, I dunno, however if you don't know wtf you're doing or where anything is that you need to collect and/or assemble in order to escape then it becomes stressful pretty quick. I couldn't figure out how to get out of the basement area before dying as a survivor lol. Leatherface sawed me up good.

I think I'll enjoy it more once I know where all the stuff you need to collect to escape is and how to more strategically play the Family.

Me and a coworker played a few times as the family. Pretty fun so far.

I like it a lot. The Family is more likely to kill everybody if they are on comms and communicating. Had a good game like that earlier.

I mean it basically looks like DBD/F13. So if you're into those, this should be fine.

-45 second stuns
-if victims know the map well enough they can escape in under 90 seconds

I've been playing as survivors only and have been having a blast. Playing with randoms can be stressful cause most people are only in it for themselves but when you have people who are helpful/use their mics, some of the most fun I've had in these DBD/F13 type games.

I'm enjoying it, but I definitely liked F13 more though. Feels too easy to be able to escape.

And as somebody who holds that original TCM movie in high regard, and has watched it an embarrassing number of times in my life, I find it to be a great love letter to it.

The issue with both F13 and TCM is that they have no room to grow or innovate, when you're a property based on a single entity. DBD has it right, same everything, but new killers who are wholly different from one another. Some teleport, some are invisible, some can run, others set traps and so on. There's only so many iterations of Jason or Leatherface.

The addition of multiple enemies however is pretty innovative. 1v4/8 was fine, but it meant that the main killer had to be OP as fuck to kill everyone. For this, you can somewhat make it a fair fight.
