Also in the early 90's when I was in high school and would occasionally stay home sick I would also watch it then as it was just part of my routine. I liked the show and he made me laugh when he was in Happy Gilmore. She was in a lot of movies. They were good friends but decided it best if they didn't appear together on the Mary Tyler Moore show.
