That's similar to the argument of "I paid my student loans, why should others be forgiven"

Laws and situations change. Never a good argument to emotionally pull from how things were.

Legal = safer so it still makes more sense to me to keep the age low, but I hate people frying their brains

Isn't weed disruptive to brain development up to a certain age? I can't remember if I read that somewhere or pulled it out of my ass, but if it is, it would make sense to limit its legality based on that age.

I don't know lol. My goal is to prevent medical conditions like mine (even if I think it'skind of good). I guess at the level of addiction in addition to psychosis that just happens or it doesn't.

It's only hypocritical if you don't think the same should apply to other comparable situations - in particular, alcohol and tobacco.

Otherwise, while some people might disagree, including your past self, that's not the same thing as being hypocritical. I wouldn't personally agree - I'd set it at 18 if it were up to me, but I'd also be quite happy with 20; 25 is going a bit far.
