Actually hitting a horse, or antagonizing a horse like that is stupid as fuck. I've been to the paddock with some of the best horses in the world, and have met a few top-level Trainers and Jockeys, and that is just before all of the other horse people I've met. That is not how it is done. That's not even how you put on tack or a bridal in any way.
